Dear athletes and club leaders!
The new rules apply for the arrival of foreigners from the 5th of February 2021.
In the files below you will find all changes for the entry of foreigners into the territory of the Czech Republic, which are valid from the 5th of February 2021. It is very demanding for all of us, and the NSA is negotiating with the Minister of Health to reduce the requirements for participants in already approved events. No less, for now, a stricter regulation applies.
In short:
“Red” countries: Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, France, Italy, Cyprus, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Austria, Romania, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland and the Azores, Madeira and the Canary Islands – before arrival the result of the antigen or PCR test must be submitted and the arrival form must be completed. Again, the maximum age of the antigen test is 24 hours, for the PCR test 72 hours. No later than 5 days after arrival, each passenger is required to undergo a PCR test. Until then, the person must be self-insulating.
This means that the team can arrive at on Thursday, February 25th 2021 with the AG (24 hours) or PCR (72 hours) test. On Friday, February 26, 21, we will perform a new PCR test in the Czech Republic. We will arrange for a chemical laboratory to come straight to the hotel in the morning to take samples so that they have the results in the evening.
When arriving from a “dark red” category of countries, it will be necessary to fill in the Arrival Form and submit the result of the PCR test before entering the territory of the Czech Republic. For the PCR test, the maximum age is 72 hours. Subsequently, it is mandatory to undergo a second PCR test in the Czech Republic, but not before the 5th day after entry. Self-isolation is required until a second negative test is submitted.
This means that the team should arrive at least on Thursday, February 20-21, 2021 with the PCR (72 hours) test. On Friday, February 26, 21, we will perform a new PCR test in the Czech Republic. We will arrange for a chemical laboratory to come straight to the hotel in the morning to take samples so that they have the results in the evening.
